52 Weeks is a year long challenge for YOU to be in a picture once a week for 52 weeks. We are always the ones behind the camera, this is YOUR chance to get out in front and be in the pictures with our family. We are glad you are joining this challenge. More importantly your family will really enjoy having you in the picture. Oh, you can just jump in now with 1 of 52, you're not getting off that easy! Now go take a picture!
Technically, I already posted a picture of me holding our newest nephew, James. But, I didn't post these pictures, and I didn't post them for my 52 wk challenge. So it's all good! :)
*All these pictures are courtesy of Aunt Heather*
I've been told John would make a great big brother. I say, he likely would, but he'll have to settle for being a great, big cousin instead! Benji got to see James in the hospital, so he was more concerned about catching up with Jacob, than holding James. (not that I minded holding James alittle longer) Carolyn, on the other hand.. soaked up him all up! Until Emily called, then she was off!And cheesy (literally on her face) Katie.. all smiles with her new baby cousin! She was rooting for a girl, but she seems quite happy with James.
I've been cutting back on my computer time (again). Not so much because of my great will power, but nonetheless, my time to spend online is limited. I've cut waaaaay back on FB, which in some ways feels like a huge weight has been lifted. No more annoying, negative, TMI status updates.
And have spent just a fraction of my computer time catching up on blogs. I used to worry about missing out on something if I didn't read blogs everyday. Then I realized how much I was missing out on at home because I was on the computer. I've learned your blog isn't going anywhere. I can read what you wrote last week, last month or last year at any time I want. But I can't go back into last week and make up for lost time with my kids.
So if I don't comment on your blog... you know why!!
very good. I need to cut way back too. And I do know that as it warms up outside and spring comes, I will just because I'll be outside more. But I need to do more now

Sweet pictures Heather dear..and you are so correct. Blogs aren't going anywhere, but your day will be gone when it is done.
ReplyDeleteGood point...we can't get the moments back with our own families. What fun to have a new baby in the family.
ReplyDeleteOh, I know the feeling...my neighbor had a baby in November and I was so honored to be the only non-family member she asked to babysit when her husband was deployed...holding a five week old baby? Sure! Love the pictures...they're so sweet.
ReplyDeleteGood for you. Great pictures and what a cute baby.
